Cappuccino: HUF 650
(approximately €2,10-€2,60, depending on your euro exchange rate) They know what they are doing! In late September i had the pleasure to spent a couple of days in lovely Budapest. Some coffee bars, recommended by the "Budapest Coffee Tour" were on my list. Madal offers a beautiful coffee and espresso menu! For example you can chose between a single origin espresso or an espresso blend in your cappuccino. In addition, they serve different types of milk! My selection went for a single origin Kenya (you can see on the picture, right bottom) with rice milk! So, this is my first ever cappuccino with rice milk! Compared to cow milk, rice milk is challenging to work with. That is because it is plant based and that affects the milks' structure and taste. The next time you see your barista ask how he/she feels about working with different types of milk and how that effects your coffee drink. My cappuccino tastes very good: The Kenyan espresso makes its way through the milk, sweet, red fruits, good body, very pleasant to taste. The rice milk intensifies the sweetness of the espresso. Lucky me, the cappuccino was medium on temperature: Sugar in rice milk, once fallen into bits when heated too much, gives the milk a slight caramelized flavor. Madal offers free wi-fi, a wide selection of coffee beans for home brew, different types of tea and cold drinks. When you are in Budapest, and you want to take a break from sightseeing, or just see a friend, or just have a good time, Madal coffee bar is definitely the right place! I'll certainly be back next time when in Budapest :-) Madal Espresso & Brew Bar Ferenciek tere 3 1053 Budapest t: +36-70-945-8279 Mo-Fri: 07:30 - 19:30 hrs Sat-Sun: 08:30 - 19:30 hrs Web Kommentare sind geschlossen.
